Smithsonian's STC Middle School

The new STCMS units were developed for the Next Generation Science Standards.  Each unit begins with a driving question.  The lessons follow coherent learning progressions in which students study, model, and explain real-world phenomena.  Students will revisit and expand their understanding utilizing the science and engineering practices and their literacy and math skills to answer the driving question by the end of the unit.

Learn more about the learning progressions each unit in this PDF.
