Einstein Training Sessions

Engineering 101

Presenter: TBD

Audience: Grades 1-5

Featured Units: Engineering is Elementary (EIE)

Description:

This professional development is required because we want to make sure educators in the classroom are aware of the embedded engineering content in the Wisconsin Standards for Science.  It is important for teachers to be knowledgeable of the engineering and design process in which they may not have received during preservice classes.  This PD is required in-person and for 4 hours due to the participants will be expected to actually do the challenges and engineering projects.

(This is a one-time training; once trained in EIE, educators are trained to teach any EIE unit.)
